Dwarka nagri of Krishna, a capital city of Lord Krishna in Dwapar Yug is well known for its Pilgrimage for Hindus in India. The Dwarkadhish Temple is the main source of attraction for Pilgrims comes throughout India. The temple was built by Raja Jagat Singh Rathore, so it is also called Jagat Mandir.
The Dwarka city is one out of four Dhams in India. It is also called Gateway to Heaven. The best time to visit dwarka is from November to March.
Why Krishna went to Dwarka ?

1) Sudhama Setu: Sudhama Setu is a bridge near Dwarkashish Temple built for pedestrians over River Gomti. Sudhama is the childhood friend of Lord Krishna. This bridge was inaugurated by Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2016.
2) Nageshwar Jyotirlinga: Nageshwara means Lord of Serpants and the Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is situated in the place called Darukavana name after the ancient forest in India. Here men must need to wear Dhoti to perform Pooja. In the temple, there is a huge 25 meters long Shiva’s Statue in a sitting position. The Nageshwar Jyotirlinga is famous for protection from all kinds of Poisons. Nageshwar Jyotirlinga also called 'Daarukaavane Naagesham' in the ancient slokas of Rudra Samhita.
3) Gopi Talab: Gopi Talab is a lake in Gopipura locality in Surat, Gujarat. The place is 20 kms from Dwarka. This place is famous for Raas Leela of Shri Krishna with the Gopis. When Shri Krishna went to Dwarka, the Gopis can’t bear this and on Sharad Purnima, they went to meet Krishna and perform raas and after that all of them offered their lives to the soil of this talab and merged with the Lord. The soil of this place is yellow and smooth and have divine properties and cured many problems related with skin.
4) Bhadkeshwar Mahadev: This temple of Lord Shiva is situated in Gujarat. About 5000 years old this temple of Lord Shiva is automatically appeared in the sea. In the months of June and July, the Arabian Sea itself perform Abhishek to the Shivlinga and for some time this temple is surrounded by water. The temple allows Abhishek by the Devotees from 08:30 am to 12:00 pm but it opens throughout the day for Darshans. The area around this temple is famous for its Sunset views and also known as Sunset point.
