But Shiva knew they were hidden, so he changed into a bull and dove under the earth, leaving only his hump above the surface. When the Pandavas realized their insanity, they attempted to stick to the crest but were only able to hold onto the upper part of it, leaving the lower piece in different places, forming the Panch Kedar.
